The “Montauk Monster” was an unidentified creature that washed ashore dead, on a beach near the business district of Montauk, New York in July 2008. The identity of the creature, and the veracity of stories surrounding it, have been the subject of unresolved controversy and speculation. It is unknown what happened to the carcass. 

The rumor of the Montauk Monster is spreading like a fire as rumors spread just like the rumors of fake news, speculations and arguments. Montauk Monster is a creature or animal which was found dead on the Montauk Beach.

The discovery of the Montauk Monster was first published by The Independent Magazine in 2008. This article describes that the Chief Britton along with other friends at the Ditch Plains beach discovered the animal.

According to the Chief Britton,they were searching a place to walk when they noticed that people were looking at a weird thing and they really do not know what that thing was. They joked that may be it is from the Plum Island.

It was reported that the owner of Montauk Monster.com’s had discovered another same creature. Still there are lots of speculations that the creature, Montauk Monster is from the Plum Island. Plum Island is a small island where the most deadly diseases of animals are tested.
