Day 01. Favourite Version
Such a hard decision since Blue was my first love, but I’m going to go with…
It’s old school enough, and the new stuff added (like the Pokéwalker and then Pokémon following you around) is just freaking awesome! I chose SoulSilver over HeartGold because I prefer Lugia and this is the version I bought.

I bought an Action Replay for my DS…
I feel so dirty, but seriously… Lance in SoulSilver… I just can’t do it. I won’t be using it after this. That being said, since I know I’ll be encountering Latias in Pewter City, it’s sooo tempting to have the “All Pokémon shiny” cheat in when I do :p

I swear the Safari Zone music on SoulSilver will be playing in my dreams tonight
‘Cause seriously, all I’ve done today is play on that game, mostly in the Safari Zone. My Pokédex is at over 300 now though, so it’s not all bad :P

So I’m battling Chuck on SoulSilver…
I only called him for the rematch just before midnight, so this is the only go I’ll get at him for 1 week. I’m cheating, and I want to catch his Primeape since it’s otherwise unobtainable in the game (I can’t trade on it for some reason). He sends out Medicham first, I send out Honchkrow. I use Fly. While I’m up in the air, Medicham uses Hi Jump Kick and (obviously) misses. It keeps going and crashes. Due to another cheat I have set up, the “crashing” KOs Medicham. He sends out Primeape next. Honchkrow uses Fly. Knocks Primeape out. So now I can’t get it for another week.
That’ll teach me to cheat, I guess :P

I have two that I honestly can never choose between…
#006 Charizard
Honestly, this guy is just bad ass! The origin of my love for Fire-types and the choice I always make when I have to choose between Kanto starters in the games. I also acquired one in Black and it’s one of my most valued members of the team.
#249 Lugia
This largely stems from the 2nd film - The Power of One - which is my favourite Pokémon film of all time. It’s just so majestic and beastly. And Lugia is also the reason I chose SoulSilver over HeartGold. My Lugia helped me destroy Bruno of the Elite Four in SoulSilver!
